"Why do cats need grooming. I thought they were self grooming..."

Yes, cats do groom themselves but with a combination of breeding, coat types and lifestyle. Cat grooming is just if not more essential to maintain a health skin and coat.

Cats produce more oil in their fur so are more susceptible to matting then dogs. When cats matt the hair underneath the matts will stop growing. This is why preventing cats getting to this stage is essential.

We are well aware life gets in the way and matting can occur, this is where we come in to help de matt your cat and get them feeling better. We can then create a grooming plan and find the right tools to keep on top of your cats coat at home.
